So did you think I was Lost??

Hello to all and I hope that everyone is having a great summer and most have returned to school by now!!! Yes, it has went by so fast. It seems just like yesterday it was May 30 and now we are half way into August.

I have not blogged in forever and ever but we have had so much going that it is not funny. We went on vacation with our friends the Fullers to SC, the kids have been to camps, and we have had many Dr. appts with Noah. So it has been eventful. The kids had a great time with their friends at camps this year and it has been a great growing experience for them all. We had a great time with our crazy Fuller friends at the beach and we went to tour another place in Charleston where we saw a fort, sub, and a aircraft carrier. We really had a great time and we love them very much. It was a much needed vacation.

We also have went to many appts with Noah as they were trying to get on the right track of what was going on. We found that he has no food allergies that have triggered the chrones and his ANA was negative. So they ran many more blood test and found that he does not have immune response to some of his childhood shots so we are getting them again this week, Monday, and will recheck him again in 6 weeks. So with all of this he is being home schooled and we are to get a teacher one a week to come here. This decision was hard and it has been on him . He is not playing any sports and does miss his friends but overall this was the best decision. We have been taking at night this week about how we feel and I ask them question like do you want to tell God anything or do you need to apologize for anything? and he spoke up saying "Mom I really enjoyed being home this week, I like be schooled here!" So we will see how things go so please remember him as we go through alot of stuff these next months, they feel this is hereditary so we have to to check Sis as some point .

So we have started 9th , 6th, and 3rd grade this week. Nathanael loves it but very nervous. Sis is upset that she is alone at school without her brothers and why she can not stay here with Noah. So it has been nuts!!!!!!!! I mean NUTS!! At the same time Rob has left for three weeks to MS with who know what he will do again in the future of deployment!!!!!

Guys please remember our family during this time of change. God is good and I know He will see us through and take care of my Noah it is just hard at times. i just wanted to update and say hey to all and that we love ya guys.

I also wanted to share something else with you. i had called my Mom today and we were talking about stuff well I was rambling on and on about purpose for my life feeling the need or worth so it seems from my kids, husband etc. So I was sweeping the office when I found a book from awhile back that I had gotten. It is a book plus CD and the title is Something Worth Leaving Behind. I know you have hear it before but the funny thing was I had not seen it in months and it was behind the desk. So I opened it up and the words read something like this

I may not go down in history ...
I just want someone to remember me.

This book talks about the role call of greatness like Leonardo da Vinci, Mozart, and Jesus.
This is a partial list and many names could be added each day and these are names of everyday people making a difference ... names like yours!!
You may not create masterpieces or symphonies or make an impact on humanity like Jesus did and still does but believing you belong in their company because of the legacy you are leaving in the lives of those around you.
By painting...with the color of love
By writing ... with the melody of love
By touching... with the gift of love
By reaching ... with the open arms of love
By changing the future ... with the promise of love
You have made a difference because...
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeed.
That is something worth leaving behind.
I just thought this was so odd but I know it was God giving me a boost to keep up the task at hand and you would just have to read this whole book or hear the song to get the whole impact it has. I just had to share with you and say have a blessed day and love to all!!! God is good !!!!

Well Miss Grace Katherine is so big that it just kills me because my baby is no longer a baby that is for sure. She is so funny, sweet, loving and smart, my girl is so much fun!!!! I can not believe how time has gone and what she has brought to my life. We had a party with family and friends a few weeks ago due to Rob being out of town with guard (pray for us the whole deployment thing is still a go at this time but God can change that) so we had it early. We had fun but the shelter was the wrong on and it was sooo small plus we had rain!
Here are a few pictures I really do not know what is wrong with our pictures but you get the idea.

ONE BUSY DAY

Hello all and hope everyone is doing well!! We have been soo busy with the kids that I really need a vacation already!!! LOL W have stayed at a ball field or Dr. all summer so far. We have been busy with camps also.

We Got back from Knoxville on Friday and regrouped as we were going to send Nathanael to Doe River Gorge for camp on Sunday and Noah left for church camp on Monday so we had lots to do with packing. So on Sunday we sent Nathanael off for a week of super fun as he moved up to the bigger kids this year!!! I am thankful they get to attend because it is a awesome experience and a wonderful week of learning about the Lord. So then we head off for dinner for Fathers day. It was a sad day for me as I really miss my daddy and wish he could see my kids but God had other plans. On Sunday morning Rob and Grace Katherine called his dad and she was talking to him and telling how much she loved him and it really broke my heart that my dad could not hear those words from her. So I was sad at church but I was not the only one that was missing daddy's. I also was glad that I had Rob to share with because he is a great dad and I love him lots.

So we head home and start Noah's packing and then head to bed for the next day to be super nuts. I took Noah to church camp and then head to the ballgame for Sis from there it was lunch then back to the camp because I had to get Noah for his appt. and Sis stayed there with friends while we went because she gets so bored. She really thought she was super cool with the other kids. Well, we get there and finally see the Dr. and we got news that we were not wanting to hear. The camera Noah swallowed on Thursday showed open areas in his intestine and bleeding. They feel this is lots of infection and possible allergy to something but the reason behind it is the beginning stages of crohn's disease. So we are very concerned and he is on lots of meds as well as having reflux that might need surgery. Please pray for him as he has lots of pain and is not dealing well with all the meds. We will return on the 9th and start other meds as well as a referral to another Dr. He may not be able to attend school if things do not get better with meds. I have been praying about homeschooling but have had mixed feeling with it but now just not sure where God is leading us.

I feel very overwhelmed as Rob is dealing with possible deployment again and all the stuff with the kids and no real answers on what to do. So please remember Noah in your prayers. I just wanted to catch everyone up and say thanks so much !!!!!! With lots of love and I will post again soon and get back on track... well I can hope to!!! LOL KIM

But overall he did great and I am very thankful for the prayers and love from our friends. So we will see how things go and that we hope to find what is going on as we go to the Dr. again on Monday to hopefully see results. Thanks KIM

Lots of fun in the Sun

FUN!!!!FUN!!!!!

Well guys we have been really busy these days with Noah and Grace playing ball as well as Nathanael going to school for football conditioning, working and camps!!!!!! Yes, girls I need a MOMMY moment about now. It is lots of fun but we are tired due to the heat being sooo bad. So Grace Katherine had a game the other day and we decided to have some fun with a few friends that we have not seen in a while

My friends Amy came to the game to see. Grace Katherine and Taylor. my friend Carolyn's little girl play ball with her three boys. Taylor and Sis play on the Angels team together. Then we watched Tyler play his game.

We really had big plans.... We were going to picnic at a local creek and play in the water because buddy it was a hot one!!!!!! We had a wonderful time the kids got in the water and played ball . We moms talked and talked....... IT WAS GRRREAT. I needed that and so did kids.

So we have plans again for a later day in JUNE and hope we will have more to come ... Tanja for one...hahaha So all is welcome and I am really looking forward to it. We talked about our kids and how hard it is for them today and how we really need to pray as we have all stages of kids .. high school, middle school. 3rd graders and of course our babies going to kindergarten. So we all need to be much in pray as we begin our new journeys. I am thankful for my friends and their kids. I am very excited about my friend Amy and her new beginning as well. She is leaving a job and staying with her kids. Amy I pray for you much needed rest and time just to be mom , wife and just yourself. Your are a great teacher and you have touched many lives. You deserve the best and I hope you enjoy everything. I am happy for you!!!! We all love ya girl!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a few pictures of our day! WITH LOTS of LOVE TO ALL. KIM

Big Angel, And little Bella + Duker.

One day my family, and I just got home. My mom told me to take a picture of my dog's Angle, and Bella. So I did. I tried to take one of Bella she ran away from me, so I went to Angle she sanded at the fence so went to take the picture she turned around so I hold for a while and let go. and she and jumped on the fences. and it looks likes she is coming out of the picture, and I got some that was not that good of Bella. I hooked them up and went inside. But then I came out and played with my dog on the same day, and we had fun. My dog Duke or Pucker as I sometimes call him.

Angel is the big baby of our furry family

Bella is our hyper girl

Duke is Grace Katherine's baby and thinks he is a human and not a dog and he is sooo funny!! He loves his Mommy. YaaaaaaaYaaaaa!!!!!

GO BIG ANGELS

Grace is planning ball for a league in our area and she loves her softball team. She will not be 8 until the end of the month so she had to ask to move up with the 8-12 age. But she fits in just fine and is quit good at it. Well some days more than others. She is so funny!!!!

I can not believe that my baby girl is so big and I cry thinking about it.

But for her I'm proud. She tires her best out of all. I love her so much.
I love my mommy she takes me there + my daddy.

Hello to all and hope all is well with everyone. Just wanted to brag on my boy for doing a fine job on his first pitching of his baseball career. He was very nervous but did a great job and we were very proud of him. Rob is coaching the team and it is lots of work but does enjoy being with the kids. I think my sweetie is so cute and I can not believe he will be 12!!! Pray for our little team because they have not won a game and it is very sad. I mean blow outs like 25 to 2. So all I have to say is go big Cardinals try your best and go for it!!!!

My Sweet Husband and Memories of a Friend

Hello and good day to everyone. Just want to send a quick note about Memorial Day!!

Just wanted to share a memory of a special friend Steve Maddies, who was killed on his final weeks in Iraq, as he was taking a right side ride. That is where they are teaching the new people;e their job. He was our good friend and we had spend time with he and his wife on many trips to Mississippi. This still hurts Rob very much and all his other friends. Please remember his family in your prayers. It is very hard when it hits home like that. Many units from here are back on mobilization orders again and yes that includes my hubby.... So it looks as if we will be going through this again but I hope that plans will change and he will not be send anywhere. Thanks so much for your prayers and support!!!!

Here is a picture of my special solider and our family. God Bless All of our troops who have or will serve!!!!!!!

Have a blessed day, KIM

Nathanael's Promotion Night

Yes, it is...... Promotion Night for our 8th graders and yes it is a very emotional one. I have been reading on my friend Cassie's site about her tears and a whole week on them. Cassie I am feeling your pain!!!! My first born is going to ....high school !!!! I have cryed for many days now as I think about the next four years. Where did the time go and does he have good memories and a good foundation to move on to the high school?? I have being thinking about his first everything and how he did this and what his favorite toy was....... you know that Mom stuff we think about!!!! I ask him to hug me now (his 160 pound self) and I get "Mom I am too big to hug you now!!!" and I just want to cry!!!

So please pray for him as we prepare for this in August that he will do well and have a great year. He is going to play football and join ROTC. So he will be very busy and just please pray for maturity to come his way!!

I have to tell you about what he said as we were getting ready to go and just talking about his future. He know he struggles and we have been praying for him and this move. So he said "Mom, I had a dream and it was a paper with words on it, so I was looking at the words and it said.. "Do not be afraid" . Then he said I think God is talking to me and I totally agree with that!!!!!!! I think God is talking to us all in some way but are we listening is the question!!!???? Thanks for sharing this moment with our family. We love you all and hope for a blessed day for you! KIM

Nathanael's Big RETURN !

Well, Nathanael made it back on Thursday the 15th about 10:03p.m. And yes he was very tired and very excited to tell us about his trip. They all returned safe and sound with many great memories to share.

I was very proud of him and we missed him lots, but this was an answered prayer for him to go and do well and that he did. THANK YOU SWEET JESUS!!!!! He has taken 4 rolls of film but then lost one and his mp3 player...... so we hope he does better next time on keeping up with his things. He came in and got right on the computer and started showing me all the places they saw and he also had taken a sheet of paper and traced the name of a person with our last name on the Vietnam War Memorial. He said how he had cryed when he saw all the names. It really touched him where we are a military family and he is all about history. This was a great trip with lots of learning and we hope to take all the kids back in the fall. We are thankful for his happy return!!! KIM

Nathanel and Grace Katherine

Noah

THANKFUL THURSDAY

Well, this has been a long and busy week for my family, but I am thankful for it!! My first thing I am thankful for is my Nathanael's Big Adventure, because this is a blessing and answered prayer for him to be in D.C. as we speak. Yes, I am thankful for the hope that God gives us in this life. God Bless you Than and I hope you are having a great time. ( I know he is. He has called and told us all about it and has taken about 81 pictures as of 8 this morning LOL so that tells you for sure he is having fun!! Thank you Lord for this trip!!)

I am thankful for the flowers and the happiness they bring. I love the face of sweet purple and yellow pansies. These are my favorite and Grace Katherine and I enjoy planting flowers together and talking about their sweet smiling faces that they have. (She also has a sweet smiling face.)

Thankful is truly what I am this day as we have had heart breaking moments with 2 of our furry family members ( Angel and Bella our labs that ran away on Tuesday night about 6.) So we have looked for 24 hours and the kids cryed themselves to sleep as I did also. The oldest is 9 and has had leg surgery a week ago so we were sad. So last night we started the search again and found someone who had seen them so we went house to house until....... YES !! there they were on the road that Rob had just went up calling their names. I guess they hear his voice and was trying to find him. My mom was here so she drove me to look for them so it was a team event with a thankful ending and an answered prayer!!!!! Those dogs are like my kids and loved so much!!!

Yesterday was the last BSF ( Biblw Study Fellowship) class meeting and I worked in the children's department and it was truly a blessing!!! I am thankful for the time to spend with 3 year olds as I miss that time with my our kids. The leadership is just awesome!!! It was a busy day and I was overwhelmed but when I go there I was blessed. God knew I needed that.

I love you Lord and I thank you for these blessings of the day and week!! God is good and I am very thankful for Him!!!! I hope everyone has a blessed Thankful Thursday day. KIM

Nathanael's Big Adventure!!!

Well my dear friends ,I did it !! yes I did I put my child on a green coach headed to Washington D.C. at a bright 1:06 this morning!!!! (and that is with much tears) and this Big Event has been in motion for months (actually since the 3rd week of school) so I KNEW what the end of the year would bring!! MANY TEARS ...... of sadness that he is moving on but the blessings of he is able to move on with his life and be happy!! and yes he was really happy to leave us behind and say see ya on Thursday so that is good but for me I had a hard time to see that bus carry my baby far far away without his mom.

So for about a week it has been pack, fill out tons of forms, and then you give all kinds of advice to hear... "I AM NOT A BABY and I KNOW MOM" but he does not know everything like he thinks he does (you know how a 14 year old can be). So this big day started yesterday bright and early 7:00a.m. and he went to school then he returned for a nap. At 5:30 we got things ready for the sports banquet where he received a trophy. We then got back home to put him not us (LOL) back to bed for a short nap again . At midnight we were out the door to catch our bus and that we did. At 1:06 he was gone and no where in sight!!!! My dear friends please remember these 46 children and adults in your prayers for a safe and wonderful trip of a lifetime!!!!! They are hoping to see the President as that is their first stop to the White House this morning!!! May God Bless them on their Big Adventure!!!!!! Have a blessed day!!!!!

With lots of love, KIM

Grace Katherine's AR Trip

Hello friends I am really playing catch up these days as I have been so busy with the kids, ball , my mom, and all the stuff in between. I have been wanting to tell you about Sis and her AR trip because it was so much fun. Rob and I both meet her at a local park in our town. They earned it if they meet the needed points for reading and had a certain average. Our Grace is a big reader and loves books so much !!! So here we go to the playground and they all were playing on the playground, then they moved over to the other side and were playing games. It was a pretty day with fun to be had.

So when we got over to the other side they were cooking or had been cooking for some time but there were problems.... they had lost about 30 hot dogs on the ground!!!!

Then, they could not get the charcoal to burn so it was not getting hot...... by this time it was getting really late like 12:45 and you know how the younger kids eat about10:00 so we are getting some hungry kids by now.

So I begin to think and that is not safe thing for me (HA!) and I call a friend that lives really close to the park and I asked can I bring over about 80 hot dogs to boil?? and on the other end there is a moment of silence and then .....

Yes, sure go ahead so Rob and I grab the dogs and off we go to get the cooking going!!!!
I had not seen this friend in some time and it was so funny the way we saw each other and I was very thankful for her support!!!

So here is to you Jennifer---- You earn the award for "Queen of the Hot Dogs and Helper of the Day.
Thank you for your kitchen and for your help!!!! here are some pictures of the event!! ENJOY!!!!!
